Potty Training #2

Potty Training!!!
Well the time finally came when I knew I needed to potty train Linden. He has done so well, but there have definitely been moments when I've wanted to give up. We aren't all the way there yet but I know that day will come. Well, here's my little guy in action.
This part takes the longest. Those darn pants are so tricky to get down.
I skipped the middle part cause I'm sure no one wants to see that. His favorite part aside from the treats is getting to flush the toilet.
He is so good at washing his hands too. He won't let me help at all, unless the water gets really hot.
He's so funny cause he'll put soap on his hands and then wash it right off with the water, so I'm not too sure if his hands are really getting that clean. Oh, well I'm sure it won't kill him, right?
All done!
Dry those little hands so they are ready for treats!
YUMMY! M&M's, it's so worth it, right!! My little guy is growing up so fast (sniff, sniff).

We just had an amazing photographer take some pictures of our little family and the ones I've seen are amazing (thank-you Allison)! If you want to check them out as they are posted they are on Allison's website. www.allismithphotography.blogspot.com

Children's Museum
Time seems to have flown by this past month so these pictures are a little old. Our good friends invited us to the museum on a saturday and Linden was so excited to go with his little buddy Thais. They really had a blast (and it was a free day)!

They were holding hands on the way in but I missed it by seconds. I need to be faster with the camera.
This is Thais and her dad having fun dressing up.

Mya was out patroling on her hog to make sure everyone was being good.

Tris was playing in the fire truck with a random kid.
Eventually Linden made his way over.
Mya was loving the freedom of being able to crawl around and play.
Of course Linden loved the train section and threw a fit when we needed to move to a new section. He would have spent the whole time in this one area if we let him.
This was one of the kids favorite sections because it had little babies to take care of and a grocery store to shop in. Tris and Jordan (Thais's dad) liked this section because it had a dance, dance revolution section. I think they had as much fun as the kids.
This is Mya walking right through the middle of the train. It really was a fun day and can't wait for there to be another free day.

Christmas Morning
Well I've been a little slow at getting the Christmas pictures posted. I just seems like things haven't slowed down since Christmas. We had a great Christmas at Tris's parents with cousins from Virginia.
As you can see they got spoiled.
Mya was checkin out all the presents before the big event.
Mya finally has her own big fuzzy chair. Linden got one over a year ago from Grandma and Grandpa Jackson so Mya got one from them this year. Now no more fighting over the one chair, right? I'm sure they'll find something else to fight over.
Linden got a T-Ball set and he loves it.
This is Mya opening her first baby doll. She thought it was pretty neat.
Mya got a cute little dress-up set from cousins; thank-you cousins!
Linden already took over one of Mya's toys. That didn't take long.
Aunt Tia was helping Mya push her new doll in her new baby stroller.
Linden got a train track for his trains for Christmas but we couldn't haul it to Grandma and Grandpa's so he got it when we got home after the holidays. He was so excited! Mya liked it too.
Linden had to get dressed in his Thomas costume to play. Later he insisted on wearing it to the grocery store. When you're a mom you definitely have to pick your battles so we got some funny looks at the store. OH WELL! We hope you all had as great of a Christmas as we did!
