Tucson's Childrens Museum

Tuscon Childrens Museum
We have been wanting to take the kids to the Childrens Museum for quite some time now and we finally got a perfect saturday with nothing else going on. We all had so much fun there. The kids each had their favorite areas as you will see below. It was a really fun family day.

This was the front of the museum, perfect family photo opportunity; another couple was nice enough to take our picture.

Linden absolutely loved anything that had to do with trains. That's his favorite right now.

Mya just liked having the freedom to touch anything and everything.
She found a little friend in the Jungle area.

Linden have a lot of fun climbing through all the tunnels.

What a little poser.

Linden talked about seeing the dinosaurs at the museum for weeks, since we planned on going to the museum a few weeks ago and didn't make it there. He sure has a good memory now. He kept asking, whenever we got in the car, if we were going to see the dinosaurs and the Choo Choo trains.

Mya wasn't sure about the dinosaurs, especially when the T-Rex started moving.

This was by far Linden's favorite station. He stayed at this station for almost a half hour. He just stood there and held the button down and watched the train go around the huge track.

Tris was teaching Mya a few art tips. She loved coloring but even more than that, she liked taking all the pencil crayons out of the art table.

The last stop we made was at the bubble table outside. We made some HUGE bubbles and we also got covered in water and soap. Overall it was a fantastic day.

Troublemakers

Troublemakers!

I think the days of 3 hour naps for Linden are over. I put him in his crib for a nap and after an hour and a half he was still talking. I peeked in his room and he was doing headstands in his bed. Crazy kid.

Not bad, eh!

Mya got caught in the act of spreading Q-tips all over the floor. Look how surprised she was!

Apparently these things taste pretty good cause Linden use to suck on them too. YUCK!

How could you get mad at that little girl! So Sweet!

Cleaning Up!

Cleaning Up!!

The kids were playing with their huge bin of plastic food and at clean-up time they decided that they wanted to get in the bin along with the food. Crazy Kids!!

It was a TIGHT fit! (Look at that face)

Potty Training

Potty Training
Well this is something I've been trying to put off for quite some time. I have absolutely been dreading potty training Linden, but I think he could be ready since every time he poops his diaper he tells me. The first day was not exactly a success story so we are going to keep trying until we get it. Well here's just a little bit of the action. I spared you by not showing you pictures of the actual messes but just how many undies (or gonchies as we call them in Canada) we went through in a couple hours.

Undies #1 NEMO
(Poor Nemo!)

Undies #2 WALL-E
(Poor Wall-E)

Undies #3 THE INCREDIBLES
(Poor Incredibles)

Mya decided that she wanted to catch a piece of the action and she actually did really great. She only wet 1 pair of undies in the time that Linden wet 3. So, I've contemplated training both of them at the same time. We'll have to wait and see how crazy this makes me before I decide to do both now.

The baby potty wasn't quite her style so she graduated herself to the giant potty. Always such a big girl!

The two potty trainin' kiddies. SOOOOO CUTE!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!!!

SHOES, SHOES, SHOES!!!
Recently the kids have loved putting on shoes, but only ones that aren't theirs. Mya is especially into shoes; she's such a girl! I will usually notice that they are being too quiet and they will be in my closet putting on mine or Tris's shoes. I'd have to say that they look pretty cute in our shoes.

Dad's work shoes.

They are a little tricky to walk in.

Dad's flip-flops.

Caught in the act.

They Grow Up Too Fast!

They Grow Up TOO FAST!!!
For some reason I started looking at pictures of my cute little kids on our computer the other day while they were napping and I was blown away by how much each of them has grown. Time really does go too fast. Several people have told me to enjoy this time in my life because before I know it I'll blink and my kids will be leaving home. Sometimes I just want them to stop growing and I really don't want to miss a minute of their lives. We love these kids so much and feel so blessed to have them in our lives. And aren't they just so DARN CUTE!!!
