The Birthday Hike
A couple of weekends ago it was Tris' dad's birthday and all he wanted was to go on a family hike. So, we all headed out and had a great time.
Linden loves his cousins! Here's Linden with one of his oldest cousins, Austin.
Here's the girls, Mya loves them too!
The whole clan making their way up. Linden was a trooper for a little while.
It got pretty hot up on the mountain so Tris tried to keep himself cool. This is him and his mom.
Linden pooped out part way up so Tris, being the great dad he is, carried Linden the rest of the way on his shoulders. He's a heavy little guy.
We made it to the top. Uncle Treven had to carry Mya almost the whole way. Thank heavens for uncle Treven because Mya is no peanut.
This is the view from the top, it was beautiful.
This is Linden and Tris chattin' on the way down.
Mya and Grandma, what a cute picture.
This was Grandma and Grandpa Rollins (Tris' mom and dad) with all the grandkids that were there. We really had a good time and we hope dad/grandpa had a great birthday.

Thomas and Friends, Live on Stage!!!
Last night Tris took Linden to see Thomas Live!! I saw a commercial on t.v. that said Thomas the play was coming to town so Tris decided it would be fun to take Linden to see him. Linden was so excited for an entire week, because he was finally going to see Thomas.
Linden made sure to wear his Thomas shirt for the show. He even took his Thomas costume along, just in case.
This is when they arrived and first got seated. Linded apparently couldn't take his eyes off of the stage.
Finally the show started. Tris said that Linden kept on wanting to get down and touch Thomas.
During the intermission Linden got one of his favorite things in the whole world. A RED SLURPEE!! He was a spoiled little boy last night, and loving every minute of it.
More Thomas!!
I guess Thomas saved the circus and got a big ribbon!! Well I know Linden had fun because all day today he was asking to go see Thomas again.

I BE THREE!!
On saturday was Linden's third birthday and he walked around saying, "I Be Three Today." It was so cute and I really can't believe that my little guy is already three years old. Tris's mom and dad came down from Cave Creek to celebrate with us and I'm pretty sure Linden had an awesome day!
He got a little spoiled. Look at all those presents.
He had to have a Thomas the Train cake (of course)!
Linden and Mya both thought that the cupcakes were pretty tasty.
Mya licked all the super duper green icing off and hardly ate any cake. Little Turkey!
Linded did pretty much the same thing. That green icing can't be too good for you right? Oh, well I'm sure it won't hurt to have it once a year.
Opening the first gift. What could it be!?
Surprise!! It's Thomas!
Grandma and Grandpa Jackson gave Linden the coolest cup and plates.
He' loves the cup. He's using it right now, at this very moment.
Guess what? Another Thomas. YIKES!
Linden's friend Hanna got him the coolest shirt ever. Yup, Thomas! My little boy is growing up but some days I wish he would just stay little. Happy Birthday Linden!

Canadian Relatives!!
I was so lucky to have a visit from my Canadian relatives not too long ago. I rarely get to see them so when they called and said they would be in Arizona I was sooo excited. First my Auntie Alicia and Uncle Terry came from British Columbia and my Auntie Cheryl came from Wyoming. She looks a lot like my mom so the kids thought she was Grandma. We thought it was so cute so Auntie Cheryl got to be Grandma for a few days. We took the kids to the zoo one day and they were pooped.
Mya didn't make it all the way home. So cute in her little shades!!
A couple weeks later Autie Alicia and Uncle Terry came back with more family. This is my Grandma's (my mom's mom) friend Ray, who of which Mya loved. He played with her the whole time. She soaked up all the attention.
Here is Alicia and Terry kickin' back after a long day of golfing. I think they were really enjoying the warm weather.
Here is my sweet Grandma, I just love her to death. I'm so glad she came!
After they visited at our house for a couple hours they convinced us to come and have a delicious meal with them at their hotel room. My Uncle Terry and Auntie Alicia are amazing cooks (they own a restaurant) so it didn't take much convincing. Here is my Uncle Richie with the finished product, STUFFED PORKCHOPS. YUMMY!
I couldn't get many pictures of grandma where she wasn't taking pictures. She is the queen of picture taking.
Here is Tris getting ready to dig in to his porkchop.
Mya loved Terry and he kept pretending that someone was on the phone for her. We thought it was so funny.
Everyone enjoyed the meal and was able to visit and we all had such a good time.
It was sad to say goodbye, but we hope they will all come and visit again, soon. I love to see my Canadian family so this was such a treat.

California!!
A week ago I was able to go visit my closest friend in California. Me and Olivia lived together at BYU and have kept in contact ever since. She had twins just a little over a year ago and I still hadn't seen them so this visit was long overdue.
There were no husbands around so it was us and 5 kids under the age of 4. It was a lot of fun but it sure got a little crazy once in a while. There was a great mall with a bunch of ride on toys for the kids so we took a trip their one night to get out of the house and the kids loved it.
Mya loved the horsies.
In case you didn't guess, this was Linden's favorite.
Mya was just chillin' with the twins William and Weston. They sure are cute boys!
We took the kids to a museum and they had a blast. This is Averie (Olivia's oldest) and Mya having fun.
Linden at the museum.
Our last day in California we took the kids to a park to get them good and tired before the plane ride home. This is Mya swinging at the park.
Linden wanted to see how long he could hang from the monkey bars. He did pretty good!
This is the classic Mya face. I see this face several times a day.
This was Averie and Linden on the last day cherishing every moment they had left (he he he!!, you'll get the joke here Olivia).
