I FOUND A MOUSE IN MY PANTRY!!!
I found a mouse in my pantry today and she was eating my chips. I was vaccuming the bedrooms and when I was finished I couldn't find Mya. I opened the pantry and found her in there snacking on the chips. She is such a funny kid and she definitely knows how to get what she wants.
P.S. Notice yet another injury. She fell foward on her tricycle and scraped her chin and I was even standing right there. YIKES!

Twilight!!!

Girls Night Out
I was able to go out with the girls on Monday night to see the Twilight movie. We were all so excited to see it and we weren't disappointed. It's just such a great love story so how could it go wrong. Well, I had a blast and am so glad I have found so many good friends here in Marana.

Too Quick!!

My Little Artists'
At least a couple times a week the kids and I will sit down at the table and do art projects. They love markers, stickers and especially stamps. I keep a close watch on the kids because they like to color on their faces and Mya will even snack on the markers (she bites the tips off and chews on them). Anyways, I turned around for, literally, 10 seconds to get a paper towel and when I turned around they had both decorated themselves. The pictures don't do it justice.

Linden loves his red stamp so much he thought that he should put it all over his head. Oh did I mention the stamps aren't washable; their markers are, but not the stamps. YIKES!
Mya's is a little hard to see because it was yellow but she had stamps going all the way up into her hair. How are they so fast!

Not Again!!

The Story of our Life
I'm pretty convinced that we have the most accident prone kids ever. We've had a broken arm, stiches, split lips, cut chins and eyes, huge goose eggs, black eyes and the list could go on and on. Mya recently had stitches on her right eye and just a week ago she cut open her left one. Luckily it wasn't as deep so we didn't get her stitches (it was borderline) but we've spent way too much money on urgent care and ER visits in the past year. YIKES!!

Here's our accident waiting to happen. Isn't she cute? (check-out the eye)
This doesn't go along with the other picture but these kids are so cute together. They love playing together, and I love it when they play together cause it makes my job easier.

The other night before bed they got all my couch pillows and made a fort under the table. Mya would pass the pillows to Linden and he would arrange them in just the right order. Then they enjoyed their fort for about 45 minutes.

Photo Tag
My friend, Mauri, tagged me and this is kind of interesting!! The rules are to pick the 4th photo from the 4th folder in your photo library and explain the meaning. It's too bad the photo ended up being of me cause I really don't like posting pictures of myself. This was from my birthday this year at Tris' parent's house. I'll let you guess how old I am.

Walkin' Time!
We decided since the weather cooled off that it was a great day for a walk so we called some friends (Elizabeth, Kolin and Kohen) and had a great morning exploring.

The kids on the walking path by our house.
Linden stopped for a drink and got a little wet at the same time.
Mya loves being outside. It's when she's the happiest.
Lucky for us the kids found a huge dirt pile on the path.
It didn't take long for them to get comfortable in it! YIKES!
Mya thought it felt pretty cool!
Guess it didn't taste as good as it felt. YUCK!! I swear this kid will eat anything.
They decided since they were already a little dirty, they might as well get A LOT dirty.
I promise I didn't let Mya eat dirt the whole time, it's just that everytime I looked away she would get a handful. Little Turkey!
Linden was lovin' life, having so much fun.
Like Mya's Little HITLER mustache! We definitely had baths as soon as we walked in the door.

Trick or Treat!!!

Halloween Night
Well Halloween night finally came and the kids were so excited. We had been talking about going trick or treating for so long and even practiced at home a bit, so the kids couldn't wait to get out there.
Linden had planned on being a vampire but we went to the mall earlier in the day (on halloween day) and I found this costume for $5.50 at a toy store (80% off). Lately Linden has been obsessed with trains and has really taken a liking to Thomas the train in particular. I figured he'd like this costume a lot more and I was right.
Mya was our cute little ladybug (thanks cousin Autumn for passing down your cute costume). Mya was eating candy before we even got out the door. She snagged a sucker from our candy bowl when we weren't looking.
This is out front of our door and they thought they had better start off by taking a little of our candy and putting it in their buckets.
Off we go!
Their first door and our great neighbor.
Thomas the Train and Dad. I loved this picture.
So cute!!!
One of our last doors. Mya's bucket got so full and so heavy but she wouldn't let us touch it. I think she was afraid that we'd take it away. She was keepin' a close watch on it.
As soon as we walked in the door Linden dumped his candy out. They couldn't even wait to get into the living room, on the rug.
Mya just copied everything that Linden did and dumped her candy out too.
I swear they opened about 5 suckers. They were so funny.
I wanted to get one last picture of the kids before we took off their costumes and Mya wasn't in the mood. First she took her antennas off.
Then Tris put them back on. She wasn't impressed.
She desperately wanted to get back to the candy, so I never got a really good picture of here. Little stinker!
Mya was sharing one of her suckers with her brother. What a nice girl. Well that was Halloween in a nutshell. It really was fun to watch the kids go from door to door and get so excited about all the candy. Hope everyone had as good of a night as we did.
