The Ostrich Farm

The Ostrich Farm
Lots of people have been checking out the Ostrich Farm lately and told us it was great so we decided to go when Mom and Dad Rollins came down to Tucson for a visit.

We thought it was great but the Ostrichs' were a little scary. Dad almost got his finger bitten off.
Mom and Mya.

Then we went to feed the deer; they were much nicer. It took a while for the kids to warm up to them.

But once they did they couldn't get enough of them. They let the deer eat right out of their hands. They loved it!

Then there were the laurakeets (don't know if that's how to spell that). They loved Tris' hat.

And my hair!

Mya thought they were the coolest thing and followed them all around.

Linden, on the other hand, got a little pinch by one that landed on his shoulder and that pretty much ended the fun for him.

He preferred them much better like this.

Maybe some day we'll come back for the monster tour. All in all it was a great little family trip.

Looks like fun. I'd be a bit freaked out by the birds also. I love seeing animals... but once they start paying attention to me, I'm done. Does Mya have her ears pierced?

we've been in tucson for 7-8yrs and still haven't been to the ostrich farm. We pass by and think about it, but never go. We need to do it one of these days!
